Since a couple of days I wanted to make a portrait. I was scared I lost all my observation-own-techniques, tho I am particulary happy with the result. So yeah, this is Brody Dalle from The Distillers. I hesitated between her, Fairuza Balk, PJ Harvey and Justine Frischmann... But heh, she has such a face and huge partcular strengh just out of her physical particularities. She's an inspirations for some of my characters in some ways, I guess.
There is something that bugs me with her left (right?) eye. Anyways... Took about three hours I think. Pencils. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Ouais ben en tk, j'ai beaucoup appris en faisant ce portrait-là. Justement, pour ce qui est des cheveux, j'ai jamais eu vraiment de patience pour les faire, mais aujourd'hui j'me suis dit : Assit-toé su ton cul pis dessine-les TOUS! lol
